It has been one of our goals at LGB for the past three years to bring to the attention of like minded folk the opportunities and rewards to be gained in volunteering. Little Garden Bar Restaurant & Guesthouse

We are situated on the river front in beautiful, laid back Kampot in the south-west of Cambodia. A big thank you to all who have contributed to the cause over the past years and a warm welcome to our new visitors.

Tin Lid Cafe

This year we shall be looking to open the Tin Lid Cafe which will be operated by children from the orphanage trained by the staff at LGB, with the aim of providing Kampot street kids with a nourishing meal and a chance of some basic schooling. A drop in center as it were. A place to drop their sacks of tin cans for a while. That's how these kids make money, yes folks 80 cans get you $1.00, which buys the kids three square meals a day, not a change for clothing or shoes on their feet, to get eighty cans is not that easy, as most restaurants in town give the can concession to their staff. Or maybe some bosses keep for themselves? Shall keep you posted on progress with this one.
